Anybody who is interested in natural health should be adding more lavender to their diet. How, you ask? One simple way is to make your own lavender lemonade.
Hiding under that intoxicating smell, lavender is a very chemically complex plant. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-fugal, antidepressant, antibacterial, antispasmodic, analgesic, detoxifier and sedative powers.
1 cup raw honey
12 cups water
1 drop lavender essential oil
6 lemons, peeled and juiced
Lavender sprigs for garnish
Simply mix all ingredients together and let chill. Serve on ice.
